Summary

Santa Slide is a casual game made for players of all ages, including children. We designed it to collect as little data as possible:

• No account, no sign-up, no name, email, or contact info collected
• No chat, no user-generated content, no social features
• No behavioral/personalized advertising — ads are contextual only
• No sale of personal information
• Game progress (levels, stars) is stored only on your device

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Santa Slide is directed at children and treated as child-directed under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Accordingly:

• All advertising is configured as child-directed: ad networks are instructed to serve non-personalized, contextual ads only (child-directed treatment flags are set before any ad request).
• The app never requests iOS App Tracking Transparency permission and never accesses the advertising identifier (IDFA).
• Analytics are configured with advertising-identifier collection disabled; players are identified only by a random, non-personal identifier.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at the email above and we will delete it.

Data collected by third-party services

The app includes the following third-party software components. Each collects limited technical data needed to provide its service:

Advertising — Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) mediation with Google AdMob

Serves the optional rewarded ads (continue after a crash) and interstitial ads. In child-directed mode these networks receive technical, non-identifying request data (such as IP address for ad delivery and fraud prevention, device type, OS version, coarse location derived from IP) and serve contextual ads only. Privacy policies: Unity/ironSource LevelPlay, Google AdMob.

Analytics — GameAnalytics

Collects gameplay events (level started/completed/failed, stars earned, ad-funnel events), session information, device model, OS version, and a random install identifier. Advertising-identifier tracking is disabled. Privacy policy: GameAnalytics.

Crash reporting — Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

Collects crash logs and device state at the time of a crash (device model, OS version, stack traces, a Crashlytics-generated installation identifier) so we can fix bugs. Privacy policy: Google/Firebase.

We do not receive or store this data on our own servers; it is processed by the services above under their privacy policies.

Consent (EEA/UK and other regions)

Where required by law (e.g., GDPR in the EEA/UK), the app shows a consent prompt (Google User Messaging Platform) before initializing advertising. Under the app's child-directed configuration, ads remain non-personalized regardless of consent status.

Data retention and deletion

• Local save data (levels, stars, settings) lives on your device; delete the app to remove it.
• Third-party services retain technical data per their own policies. To request deletion of data held by those services, contact us at santaslide.support@gmail.com and we will assist.

Your rights

Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.) you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact us at santaslide.support@gmail.com.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app's data practices change (for example, new SDKs). The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
